Overview
Intelligent re-deposit of lump-sum deposit and withdrawal is a new ABC product designed to maximize interest income during periods of rising interest rates. If a customer signs up for this service, ABC’s system will determine whether to re-deposit time deposits of the customer based on the principle of helping customers to gain more interest when the interest rate of lump-sum time deposit and withdrawal is raised.
Features
Signing up for the service saves customers’ time and energy visiting ABC to modify the time deposit.
Target customers
Personal customers who are sensitive to interest rates and those who are too busy to consider low-risk wealth management business.
Procedures
1. To sign up for the service, customers must provide their own certificate of deposit (or time deposit integrated account passbook or debit card) and valid identity certificate and sign ABC’s Intelligent Re-deposit of Lump-sum Deposit and Withdrawal Service. If the service is applied on a proxy basis, valid identity certificates of both the customer and the proxy must be provided.
2. The latest maturity date shall at least be later than the handling date plus the term of the lump-sum time deposit and withdrawal.
3. The time sub-account of time deposit integrated account passbook or debit card signed up for under the service cannot be re-deposited under a certificate of lump-sum deposit and withdrawal. The certificate of lump-sum deposit and withdrawal signed up for under the service cannot be re-deposited under a time deposit integrated account passbook or debit card.
4. Having been signed up for the service, intelligent re-deposit cannot be processed if the signed certificate of lump-sum deposit and withdrawal has been pledged or under other special or limited status.
