Overview
To ensure the security of your account and keep you updated with account status and relevant sales promotions, we offer the SMS Notification Service enabling you to know about your activation status, consumption, cash withdrawal, repayment, pre-authorization, automatic repayment and phone repayment, temporary and permanent credit line adjustment and ongoing sales promotions, and get payment reminder and account statement as well.
For example:
When you make a payment of RMB1,000 to a domestic merchant by the credit card, we will send a message to your mobile phone (at the number you provided when card application was made) indicating:
A payment of RMB1,000 was made by your credit card (the last four digits of the card number: 1234) at 12:00 on January 1.
Tips
1. The account status of any supplementary card will be reported to the holder of the principal card by mobile phone message.
2. Keep alert to any unsolicited SMS sent in the name of ABC which might be fraudulent. Remember that ABC credit card SMS is always sent from the special service phone numbers below:
To China Mobile users: 10657100395599
To China Unicom users: 1069095599
Do not trust any message sent otherwise. Do not disclose your password to anyone else, or be taken in by anyone purporting that "your password has been stolen" to induce you to transfer your money to some "secure account".
3. Fees: No service fee for the moment (we will notify you of any fees we may be charging in the future).
4. The failure of receiving SMS account statement, if any, might be caused by one of the following facts; since you can inquire about your statement through our Customer Service Hotline, the failure of statement reception should not be taken as the grounds for refusing repayment:
• No application for modifying information has been made after the change of your mobile phone number;
• The line is busy so that the message is delayed;
• Other causes.
