Third-party Depository Services are services where, upon approval by the regulators and at the request of securities companies and the investors, ABC opens transaction settlement accounts, transfers funds in the accounts for investors, maintains bookkeeping for the investors' accounts based on the securities transaction clearing and delivery data of investors provided by securities companies, and reconciles customers' transaction funds of the securities companies.
