Securities Investment Fund Custody

Overview
The Securities Investment Fund Custody is a service where ABC provides fund assets custody for securities investment funds issued by fund management companies to the public in accordance with laws and regulations.

Features
The Securities Investment Fund Custody includes: custody of fund assets; NAV calculation and accounting; funds transfer under instructions of the manager oversight of the fund manager's investing activities; and review of fund disclosures.    
We are among the first financial institutions licensed by CSRC and the PBOC to provide securities investment fund custody services. Taking custody of the first closed-end securities investment fund in 1998, we have since established efficient, professional customer service and operation teams, and have also received the SAS70 certification in 2007. By the first half of 2008, we have established cooperation with 25 fund management corporations in securities investment fund custody.

Procedures
1. ABC negotiates and reaches the intent of cooperation with the fund management corporation;
2. ABC and the fund management corporation negotiate on the target fund product, sign the fund contract and custody agreement, and submit them to the regulators for approval.
3. Upon approval by the regulators, the fund is offered and ABC prepares for custody. When fund offering is finished, ABC begins to take custody of fund assets.
