November 13, Chairman of the Agricultural Bank of China Xiang Junbo and the University of Cambridge Vice-Chancellor Professor Li Yian (Professor Ian Leslie) signed a memorandum of cooperation at ABC's head office. Both sides will carry out cooperation on a friendly and mutually beneficial basis.
According to the memorandum of agreement, Agricultural Bank of China and the University of Cambridge will work together to develop short-, medium- and long-term management training programs, including short-term training for senior management staff; long-term training for young professionals; and support for students in western China to complete their studies at Cambridge University, among other initiatives.
In order to realize the Bank's "3510" strategic plan, the Agricultural Bank of China and the University of Cambridge, will combine resources to jointly train a pool of talent which is proficient in English, understands international practices and is equipped with modern commercial banking knowledge and skills.
